We were hanging around the tequila bar and I bumped into the guys I know from Warner Music Canada and ended up talking with Ian D’Sa lead guitar player from Billy Talent. It’s always cool to meet a fellow musician dedicated to the guitar. What it comes down to in the end is that he prefers his Fender guitars and I am dedicated to my Gibsons and Marshall sound. Nice round relaxed setup. the guys roll in one by one we have a quick chat and they start playing Fearless to warm up. Beautiful and powerful with a great melodic guitar solo just out of nowhere...even the little rehearsal hall became a stadium for a moment...I really like Dennis his playing, he is great at creating sonic landscapes and awesome sounds. It was great to be part of it for an hour, it made my day...thanks guys!
